Venezia: Corsi Estivi del 2010

Il Corso intensivo estivo di Lingua e Cultura Armena dell’Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, che dall’agosto 1986 si ripete ogni anno senza interruzione, organizzato dall’Associazione culturale Padus-Araxes, sotto l'egida del Dipartimento di Studi Eurasiatici di Ca' Foscari, festeggia quest’anno il suo venticinquesimo anniversario. Il 13 e il 15 agosto sono in programma particolari iniziative accademiche ed artistiche per celebrare questo felice evento.
Il 13 alle ore 17, presso la magnifica Sala degli specchi di Ca' Zenobio, lo storico Collegio Moorat-Raphael dei Padri Armeni Mechitaristi, si terrà la celebrazione accademica con la prolusione del vice-presidente dell'Accademia Nazionale delle Scienze della Repubblica d'Armenia, l'accademico Prof. Vladimir Barkhudaryan, e la lectio magistralis del relatore particolarmente invitato per la circostanza, il Prof. Harutiun Kurkdjian. Seguirà un programma artistico di canti armeni e di altre tradizioni musicali con la partecipazione del soprano Rosine Tachdjian Atamian, del baritono Mkrtitch Mkrtchyan e della pianista Justin Rapaccioli.
Il 15 agosto, festa dell'Assunta, all'Isola di San Lazzaro dei Padri Armeni in Laguna, dopo il Pontificale e la tradizionale benedizione dell'uva e il buffet offerto dai Padri avrà luogo alle 14.30 un concerto di canti religiosi e popolari armeni e di alcuni autori occidentali con la partecipazione dei medesimi artisti e del dudukista Aram Ipekdjian e della corale Padus-Araxes dei partecipanti del Corso.
Con la presente sono invitati amici e simpatizzanti a onorare con la loro presenza la ricorrenza.

of Ca' Foscari University of Venice celebrates its 25th Anniversary

The Summer Intensive Course of Armenian Language and Culture of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, organized in collaboration with the Cultural Association Padus-Araxes, under the auspices of the Department of Eurasian Studies of the same University, celebrates its 25th anniversary. Special academic and artistic events are foreseen for August 13 and 15.
On August 13, at 5 pm, at the magnificent Sala degli specchi of Ca' Zenobio, the historical Moorat-Raphael College of the Mekhitarist Fathers, an acedemic celebration will take place with the introductory speech of Prof. Vladimir Barkhudaryan, the vice-president of Armenia's National Academy and the distinguished lecture delivered by Prof. Harutiun Kurkdjian, special guest for the circumstance. An artistic programme of Armenian songs and of songs of other musical traditions will follow with the participation of the soprano Rosine Tachdjian Atamian, of the baritone Mkrtitch Mkrtchyan and of the pianist Justin Rapaccioli.
On August 15, feast of Assumption, on the Island of San Lazzaro of the Mekhitarist Fathers in the Laguna, following the Pontifical and the traditional benediction of grasps, and the buffet offered by the Fathers, a concerto of religious and popular songs, of the Armenian tradition and by some Western composers will take place, at 2.30 pm, with the participation of the same artists, of the dudukist Aram Ipekdjian and of the choir Padus-Araxes formed by the participants of the Summer Intensive Course.
