Hayko to the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest
For the second year, Armenia will take part to the 52nd Eurovision - Song Contest in Helsinki.
Last year, taking the 8th place, Armenia, with Andre's "Without Your Love" gained the right to take part in the Final stage in Helsinki 2007.
This year, the Armenian public chose Hayko to represent Armenia on May 12, 2007 in Helsinki with the "Anytime you need" song. The lyrics are co written by Karen Kavaleryan, author of the text "Never let you go"
Interpreted by Dima Bilan, 2nd during Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Russia's participation.
Hayko has sung for more than 10 years.
He received several distinctions, in particular the 1st prize at the "Big APPLE" festival in New York (1997) and Best singer 2003 & 2006 at the Armenian National Music Awards.
Eurovision Song Contest is broadcast live in over 42 countries representatives a potential of 300 million spectators.
