President Barack Obama stated with the Turkish press that it " encourage " the dialogue between Turkey and Armenia, ensuring that this dialogue " could very quickly bear its fruits " towards a standardization of the relations between the two countries. Answering a question, Mr. Obama made understand that he did not change of opinion on the reality of the Armenian genocide, but preferred to stress the current discussions between Turkey and Armenia. " I want to today stress not on my personal opinions, but on the opinions of the people Turkish and Armenian. If they can advance… the whole world " must encourage them, he said.
