---ZAVEN ANDRIASIAN WINS THE RUSSIAN CUP
21-year-old talented Armenian GM Zaven Andriasian had an excellent performance in the Russian Cup held in Belgorod and justified his internet nickname "Zaven the Terrible".
Zaven achieved the honorable prize, having victories over his grandmaster-opponents in all the five matches, including the final (with a score of 1,5:0,5) over Artyom Timofeev, armchess.am reports.

Levon Aronian brilliantly took the first prize and achieved the title of the Champion in the World Blitz Championship which was held in Moscow, Russia.

So, talented Armenian Grandmaster added the rank of the World Blitz Champion to his other highest titles - twice Olympic Champion, World Cup-Holder, World Rapid Champion, World Chess960 (Fischer Chess) Champion, Winner of Grand Prix and Grand Slam.
