Paris- Serzh Sargsyan meets Francois Hollande

Today at 13:00, the President of RA and President François Hollande held a press conference in the courtyard of the Elysee Palace during which the two leaders welcomed the friendly relations that bind France and Armenia.

Over lunch that followed, which were invited Charles Aznavour and co-Chairmen of the CCAF, Mourad Papazian and Ara Toranian, the head of the French state has confirmed that there would be a law criminalizing the Armenian genocide denial. He stressed the need to ensure legal certainty for the statute to avoid censorship of the Constitutional Council.
