March 2, 2006, the parents of Mr. Derwish Ferho, Ferho & Fatim Akgül, were assassinated by special Units (death squads) and guards of village, in their Mizizah village, close to Mardin, in Turkish Kurdistan.

We learned today that the parents of our president Derwich Mr. Ferho were wildly assassinated by especially formed units and guards of village.

The old couple was subjected to threats since more than one month on behalf of the Turkish authorities, saying that their sons Medeni Akgül and Mr. Derwich Ferho were to cease their anti-Turkish activities.

This testifies owing to the fact that the Turkish authorities do not
want to live in peace with the Kurds but on the contrary, continue oppression.

All those which want to testify their sympathy with the Ferho family, are welcome.
