AZERI AND JEWISH COMMUNITIES IN USA ACT FROM IDENTICAL POSITION

The President of the Association of Jews of the former USSR in the USA Yuri Zilberman speaking to AzerTAc correspondent said, that in this country between the Azerbaijan and Jewish communities there are friendly ties. Representatives of both communities act from similar position on a number of the important questions. We have an agreement on it with the president of the Society of Azerbaijanis of America Tomris Azeri.

The fact, that my comrades and I have taken part in the 2nd Congress of World Azerbaijanis, is a bright example of our close friendship. We shall not forget this hospitality and henceforth we shall approach. Members of our Association under invitation of Tomris Khanum took active participation in actions of the Azerbaijanis conducted in connection with tragedy on January 20 and Khojali tragedy, and also in celebratory actions. We are aware of the problems of Azerbaijani people. And therefore, we shall take part and in the actions dedicated to 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
