Gibrahayer Nicosia May 5, 2006 - Former students of Melkonian who had organised a briefing by officials of the California Alumni Association currently in Cyprus, informed Gibrahayer Emagazine, that the briefing regarding developments in the Melkonian issue - that was planned for tonight at AYMA at 8:00 pm - has been unfortunately cancelled by the Melkonian Alumni representatives.
Instead, they suggested that the briefing should take place at the Dionysos Hall of The Hilton Park.
Former students of Melkonian said to Gibrahayer that they were disappointed for being sidelined again.

Gibrahayer Nicosia May 2, 2006 - Melkonian Alumni representatives from California currently in Cyprus, have been invited by former Melkonian students to present a briefing on Friday May 5, 2006 at 8:00 pm at AYMA.
Former Melkonian students said they were happy to have been given this opportunity to listen to Melkonian Alumni representatives from California, and have a first hand report by people who have been involved with efforts against the unjust decision of the AGBU to close and sell Melkonian. A former student told Gibrahayer that many former graduates felt they had been sidelined from Alumni Cyprus and were not given the opportunity to be involved in the past.
Representatives of Melkonian Alumni of California are in Cyprus to attend the Court case on Monday the 8th of May in Nicosia.
