GIBRAHAYER e-magazine(Gibrahayer Wednesday July 19, 2006) Armenia's hope for making it to the world tennis arena - Zaruhi Harutyunyan - bagged her fourth title of 2006 in Scotland, demolishing in the Edinburgh final, Anastasia Nebojanko 6-1, 6-2, who in the semi finals had eliminated tournament number one Alexa Guarachi of the United States. However, Harutyunyan's true determination and champion characteristics in the Scottish Championships, emerged in the semi finals, when she fought off all odds, and defeated Caitlin Smith of Great Britain 7-6(4), 6-7(6),7-5. He writes from London.Hi everyone.....London calling Zaruhi won her 4th international title today.Since she arrived in London Zaruhi has worked very hard at Alan Jones' and Jo Durie's Academy in North London. Zaruhi seems absolutely determined to achieve her goals under intense physical and financial pressures. It's tough out there and most of the time lonely. Imagine the pressure on a 16 year old girl not only having tough battles on court coming away with aches and pains or injuries but not having a shoulder to cry on either in joy or pain or sadness after a grueling run of matches...TOUGH!!!!! I feel Zaruhi will prove her point that in life if you want something badly enough you can achieve it with HARD WORK and no other way. There are thousands out there all chasing the same goal but only few succeed because they grasp the secret of success. This last week alone has cost her kitty £475. That's without the cost of the Academy specialists (that's free at the moment), and it's only Edinburgh!! Holland, Germany, USA would almost be impossible for this talented young Armenian ambassador.
