Nurhan Arman, Music Director of Sinfonia Toronto will make his third trip to Milan next month to conduct a series of concerts with the renowned Italian chamber orchestra Milano Classica.

Maestro Arman will conduct two of Haydn's 'Sturm und Drang' Symphonies, Nos. 44 and 45, and Mozart's Violin Concerto in A Major. Appearing as soloist with Maestro Arman will be Violinist Stephanie Chase, a top prize winner at the Tchaikovsky Competition.

The first concert will take place on February 10 in the historic city of Bergamo's Sala Piatti. On February 11 and February 12 the concerts will be repeated in Milan's Palazzina Liberty.

In March Maestro Arman will return to Italy once again to conduct the Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini. He is a popular guest conductor in Italy. He has conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, l’Orchestra da Camera Milano Classica, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra Sinfonico Tito Schipa, Florence Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico. Last summer he appeared at the Settimana Mozartiana festival as guest conductor with the Sibiu Hermanstadt Philharmonic.

His next Toronto performance will be with Sinfonia Toronto on the exact date of Mozart's 251st birthday, for a Mozart in Jeans concert on Saturday, January 27 at 3:30 pm. And just before he crosses the Atlantic he will conduct Sinfonia Toronto in a Masterpiece Series concert on Saturday evening, February 3.
