NURHAN ARMAN TO CONDUCT IN FLORENCE AND MILAN

Nurhan Arman, Music Director and Conductor of Sinfonia Toronto will be
returning to guest-conduct in Italy this spring on two separate occasions.

In Florence, on April 17 and 18, Maestro Arman conducts the Orchestra da
Camera Fiorentina in two all-Mozart concerts under the patronage of the
European Parliament. Both concerts will take place at the historic 14th
century Orsanmichele Church. The program includes Mozart's 33rd symphony
and Piano Concerto No. 12 and Rondo in A major. Pianist Marco Vincenzi will
be the soloist.

Maestro Arman will return to Italy in May to conduct the Orchestra da Camera
Milano Classica. On May 29 and 30 he will lead an all-orchestra program
featuring works by Schubert, Weiner, Khachaturian and Arensky as well as the
world-premiere performance of the Italian composer Paolo Miccio Lo Monaco's
'Novita'. The concerts will take place in one of Milan's historic landmark
buildings, the Palazzina Liberty.

A frequent guest conductor in Europe, in Italy Maestro Arman has also
conducted the orchestras of Milan, Vicenza and Lecce. Internationally he has
conducted in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Hungary,
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, Armenia, South Korea,
Mexico, Dominican Republic and throughout Canada and the United States.
